Your experience is worth more than your resume is saying.
Most people undersell themselves on paper — not because they lack the experience, but because it’s genuinely hard to write about yourself. I’ll rewrite your resume and cover letter so an employer can see, quickly, why you’re worth interviewing.

A better resume doesn’t just look nicer
Here’s what actually shifts when your experience is written the way an employer reads it.
You stop getting filtered out
Most applications are screened by software before a person ever sees them. Clean, ATS-friendly formatting means your resume makes it through to a human.
Your value becomes obvious
A list of duties tells an employer what your job was. We’ll show them what you achieved, what you’re good at, and why that matters to them.
Gaps stop being awkward
Career breaks, redundancies, a change of direction — these are normal. Framed honestly and confidently, they stop being something you feel you have to apologise for.
You apply faster
No more rebuilding the same document at 11pm before a closing date. You’ll have a strong resume and cover letter ready to send.
You apply with confidence
There’s a particular relief in reading your own resume and thinking “I’d interview her.” That’s the feeling we’re going for.
Someone’s in your corner
You’re not filling in a template or feeding a chatbot. You’re working with someone who has read thousands of resumes and hired real people.
The $99 Interview Ready Package
Everything you need to start applying — nothing you don’t.
- 1
A professionally rewritten resume
Not tidied up — rewritten. Your experience restructured and reworded so your strengths, achievements and transferable skills lead the way, and so it still reads like a person wrote it.
- 2
A matching cover letter
Written in the same voice and style as your resume, and easy to adapt for each role you apply for. This is often the thing that makes a hiring manager keep reading.
- 3
ATS-friendly formatting
Formatted so Applicant Tracking Systems can read it properly — no hidden tables or graphics that scramble your details — while still looking good to the person who opens it.
- 4
Two rounds of revisions
Your resume should sound like you. If something isn’t quite right, tell me and I’ll fix it. Twice, if you need it.
- 5
Delivery within 2–3 business days
Job ads don’t wait. Once I have your information, your first draft is back with you within two to three business days.
Three steps, and most of the work is mine
Book your package
Pay online and you’ll get a short questionnaire. It takes about fifteen minutes. Send through your current resume if you have one, and anything you’d like the new one to lead with.
I write your first draft
I go through your experience properly, look for the things you’ve undersold, and write your resume and cover letter. Back with you in two to three business days.
We refine it together
You read it and tell me what you’d like changed, and I revise it — up to two rounds — until it sounds like you and says what it needs to say.
I’ve spent years on the other side of the desk.
I’m Carlie. I’ve been writing resumes for a long time — but before that, and alongside it, I’ve been the one doing the hiring. That’s the difference. I don’t just know how to write a resume. I know what makes someone stop and read one.

This is relaunch pricing while I rebuild the business, and it will increase as demand grows. If you’ve been thinking about it, now is a good time.
What you can hold me to
Your Best Work is relaunching, so I am not going to show you testimonials I have not earned yet. Here is what I will commit to instead.
Your draft on time
Two to three business days from your questionnaire. If I ever can’t make it, I’ll tell you early and offer you a new date or your money back.
Written by me
Every word is read, edited and rewritten by a human who has hired people. AI does the admin. It never writes your resume.
Kept private
Your history stays between us. Never sold, never shared, never used as an example without asking. Deleted after 12 months.
Made right
Two revision rounds are included, and anything I misunderstood I’ll fix for free. Changed your mind before I start? Full refund.
All of this is written down properly in the resume service terms — in plain English, not fine print.
Everything you might be wondering
Will my resume get through the ATS?
That’s the intention. Applicant Tracking Systems trip over things like text boxes, tables, headers and graphics, so I don’t use them. Your resume will be formatted so the software can read your details correctly, while still looking polished to the person who opens it. Worth knowing: no one can guarantee a result with every system out there, and any writer who promises that isn’t being straight with you.
Do you use AI to write my resume?
I use AI the way an accountant uses a spreadsheet — to organise information, check consistency, spot gaps and proofread. It never writes your resume for you.
Every resume is reviewed, edited and rewritten by me before it’s sent. AI assists; I write. Using better tools for the repetitive parts is exactly why I can offer this at $99 rather than $295.
What do you need from me?
Your current resume if you have one — no stress if it’s out of date or half finished — and a short questionnaire that takes about fifteen minutes. If there are particular roles you’re going for, send those through too. It helps me pitch your experience in the right direction.
I’ve had a career break. Will that count against me?
No, and you’re in good company. Parents returning to work are some of my favourite clients, and I founded Jobs for Mums Melbourne for exactly this reason.
A break in your work history is a normal part of a life. What matters is how it’s presented, and what you did with the skills you already have. We’ll handle it honestly and confidently, without over-explaining or apologising.
What if I don’t like the first draft?
Tell me. Your package includes two rounds of revisions, so we can adjust the wording, the order, the tone — whatever isn’t sitting right. Your resume should sound like the best version of you, not like someone else’s writing.
How long does it take?
Your first draft comes back within two to three business days of me receiving your completed questionnaire. Revisions are usually turned around quickly after that. If you’re working to a closing date, let me know when you book.
What industries and career levels do you work with?
All of them, and most stages. Graduates, tradespeople, administrative and office professionals, career changers, mature-aged job seekers, parents returning to work, and professionals going for a promotion. I’ve written for competitive government, university and corporate roles as well as everyday jobs.
Do you write LinkedIn profiles or selection criteria?
Those aren’t part of the $99 package, but they’re absolutely something I do — selection criteria in particular, which I’ve written for many successful government and university applications. Get in touch and I’ll let you know what’s involved.
Is my information kept private?
Yes. Your resume, your work history and anything you tell me stays between us. I won’t share your details, and I won’t add you to anything you didn’t ask for. I keep your file for 12 months so you don’t have to start again if you come back, then delete it — and you can ask me to delete it sooner at any time. It’s all set out in the service terms.
The right job is out there. Let’s make sure they can see you.
A professionally written resume and matching cover letter for $99, back with you in two to three business days — written by someone who has done the hiring, and who genuinely wants you to get the call.
